Director of Regional Marketing
The Director of Regional Marketing is responsible for leading and managing regional marketing strategy, execution, and performance across Sokin’s key global markets. This role ensures that local marketing efforts are aligned with the global strategy while being tailored to each market's needs, cultural nuances, and regulations. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), this person will play a key role in scaling the regional marketing function, and will initially manage UK and Europe marketing efforts directly while building out a regional team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement region-specific marketing strategies in collaboration with global teams.
- Ensure alignment of regional activity with the company's brand, product positioning, and business objectives.
- Oversee and execute UK and Europe marketing efforts directly until regional hires are in place.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, mentor and manage Regional Marketing Leads across key markets (North America, Latin America, Middle East, APAC).
- Define processes and best practices for consistent campaign planning, localisation, and measurement.
- Promote collaboration across regional and global marketing functions.
3. Market Intelligence & Localisation
- Gather and interpret regional market insights, trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour.
- Feed insights into product marketing, brand, and demand generation planning.
- Ensure all marketing campaigns are appropriately localised and culturally relevant.
4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Product, Demand Generation, and Brand teams to drive regional GTM success.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance to ensure marketing materials meet regulatory requirements.
- Act as the voice of the regions within global planning and leadership discussions.
5. Performance & Reporting
- Define KPIs and measure the effectiveness of regional campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation, campaign ROI, brand engagement, and regional growth.
- Optimise performance through test-and-learn methodologies.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 in a regional or international leadership role.
- Proven experience leading and scaling multi-market marketing teams.
- Hands-on experience in executing region-specific campaigns, particularly in the UK and Europe.
- Background in fintech, payments, or other high-growth industries is preferred.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with a focus on ROI and impact.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
