This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone with solid B2B marketing experience who can execute local campaigns, deliver events, support Sales and Partnerships, manage association relationships, and localise global activity for the Australian market.
Working closely with the global marketing team and local commercial stakeholders, you will help build brand awareness, support pipeline generation, and create a consistent market presence for Sokin across Australia.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute local marketing activity for Australia, aligned to Sokin’s global marketing strategy and regional commercial priorities.
Localise global campaigns, messaging, and assets to ensure they are relevant for Australian audiences.
Plan and deliver campaigns that support brand awareness, lead generation, sales engagement, and pipeline growth.
Build and manage the Australian events calendar, including conferences, sponsorships, roundtables, webinars, partner events, and sales-led activations.
Own event logistics, supplier coordination, collateral, invitations, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
Work closely with Sales and Partnerships to support prospecting, account engagement, proposals, events, and campaign follow-up.
Coordinate market-ready sales and marketing materials, including decks, brochures, one-pagers, event collateral, landing pages, emails, and social assets.
Manage relationships with relevant Australian associations, industry bodies, event partners, and sponsorship providers.
Track and report on campaign and event performance, including leads, meetings, engagement, pipeline influence, and ROI.
Help build the processes, supplier relationships, and reporting needed to scale marketing activity in a new market.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, campaign marketing, field marketing, events, or sales enablement.
Experience delivering campaigns and events that support commercial outcomes.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Confidence working closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, suppliers, and external partners.
Experience localising marketing campaigns, assets, and messaging for a specific market.
Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
Commercial mindset, with an understanding of how marketing supports pipeline and revenue growth.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, new-market environment.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS, logistics, trade, or another B2B sector would be beneficial.
What success looks like
In the first 6–12 months, success would include:
A clear Australian marketing and events calendar.
Local campaigns and events delivered across Sydney, Melbourne, and priority sectors.
Strong support for Sales and Partnerships teams.
Localised collateral and campaign assets ready for market.
Productive relationships with relevant associations and industry bodies.
Clear reporting on activity, outcomes, leads, meetings, and commercial contribution.
