Marketing Manager UK & EU
About us
Sokin is a next-generation B2B financial services provider, enabling businesses to make and receive global
payments with greater speed, lower cost, and total transparency. Our mission is simple: we're simplifying global
business - so businesses thrive wherever they choose to grow.
We deliver services across:
• Global payments and receivables
• Foreign Exchange (FX)
• Treasury management
• Finance reconciliations
We are rapidly expanding, with established presence in EMEA, APAC, and North America. Backed by a strong global
infrastructure and industry-leading partners, we are redefining how businesses move money worldwide.
Our clients span industries from sports and entertainment to logistics and travel, and our community is growing
rapidly. As we continue to expand, we're building a team of exceptional people who share our ambition to
transform the future of global payments.
Your role
Sokin is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead pipeline-generating marketing activity across the UK and EU.
Events are a large part of this role - you'll own execution against our UK & EU tier 1 events - alongside broader
growth marketing: campaigns, paid media, and full-funnel initiatives that turn brand visibility into demand and
revenue. You'll work closely with sales, product, and the wider marketing team to make sure everything ties back
to pipeline.
Role responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and execute Sokin's events marketing strategy across the UK & EU - conferences, trade shows, panels,
roundtables, dinners, networking events, and partner activations - to build brand visibility and drive pipeline.
This is a large proportion of the role, with strong execution against UK & EU tier 1 events a priority.
• Turn major events into multi-channel campaigns rather than one-off moments - building pre-event awareness
and outreach, on-site lead capture and content, and post-event nurture sequences across email, paid, and
sales follow-up - to maximise the return on each flagship event.
• Identify priority markets, segments, and channels to maximise brand impact and demand/lead generation
across the UK & EU.
• Develop marketing activities and campaigns that clearly differentiate Sokin's products and services in a
competitive landscape.
• Define campaign KPIs and success measurement frameworks with a critical focus on ROI and revenue
generation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to track, maintain, and optimise marketing's contribution to the sales pipeline.
• Lead the production of campaign assets, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality output across formats
(digital, print, social, events).
• With the internal performance team, launch paid advertising campaigns, manage budgets, and optimise
performance, using the performance team as an expert resource.
• Act as a key liaison between product, customer success, sales, and marketing teams to ensure campaign
relevance.
• Test new initiatives and bring new ideas to the table.
• Work closely with the wider marketing team, shaping and executing plans together.
What success looks like in 12 months
• Strong, well-executed presence at UK & EU tier 1 and smaller events, each run as a multi-channel campaign
rather than a standalone event.
• A clear view of marketing's contribution to pipeline, tracked and reported against agreed KPIs.
• Full-funnel campaigns live across the region, with measurable ROI and revenue impact.
• A tested pipeline of new marketing initiatives feeding into the following year's plan.
Qualifications
• 5-6+ years' experience in growth, demand generation, or events marketing, ideally in fintech or B2B SaaS.
• Proven track record of running large-scale events and turning them into multi-channel campaigns.
• Experience setting and reporting against marketing KPIs, with a strong focus on ROI and pipeline contribution.
• Experience running full-funnel, outbound campaigns, including paid media.
• Comfortable managing budgets across multiple channels and initiatives.
• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders at once.
• Experience working closely with sales, product, and leadership teams.
• Willingness to travel for events as needed.
Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in.
