Senior Partnerships Sales Manager - Singapore
Senior Partnerships Sales Manager - Singapore
We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Senior Partnerships Sales Manager to join our expanding global Partnerships team and help lead Sokin’s next stage of growth across Southeast Asia.
About us
Sokin is a next-generation B2B financial services provider, enabling businesses to make and receive global payments with greater speed, lower cost, and total transparency. Our mission is simple: we’re simplifying global business – so businesses thrive wherever they choose to grow.
We deliver services across:
Global payments and receivables
Foreign exchange (FX)
Treasury management
Finance reconciliations
We are rapidly expanding, with an established presence in EMEA, APAC and North America. Backed by strong global infrastructure and industry-leading partners, we are redefining how businesses move money worldwide.
Our clients span industries from sports and entertainment to logistics, travel and e-commerce. As our community grows, we’re building a team of exceptional people who share our ambition to transform the future of global payments.
The role
As Senior Partnerships Sales Manager, you will identify, develop and grow strategic referral and commercial partnerships that generate sustainable revenue for Sokin across Singapore and the wider Southeast Asian market. You will own the partner journey from market mapping and initial engagement through commercial negotiation, activation and ongoing growth.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role for someone who can build trusted relationships with founders, executives and functional leaders, navigate complex regional opportunities and translate partner potential into measurable client acquisition and revenue. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Product and Client Onboarding to deliver a seamless partner and referred-client experience.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute a partnerships sales strategy for Singapore and priority Southeast Asian markets, aligned with Sokin’s regional and global growth objectives.
Proactively originate new partnership opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting, market mapping, industry networking and strategic referrals, taking ownership of building a high-quality regional pipeline rather than relying primarily on inbound opportunities.
Identify, assess and prioritise high-value partnership opportunities across relevant sectors, including fintech, B2B credit, payroll, e-commerce platforms and growth agencies, systems integrators, professional services and other business ecosystems.
Build a strong regional pipeline through market intelligence, existing networks, targeted outbound activity, events, referrals and collaboration with Sokin’s global commercial teams.
Lead the full partnership sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, business-case development, proposal creation, commercial negotiation and agreement finalisation.
Engage senior decision-makers and clearly articulate the value of Sokin’s global payments, receivables, FX and treasury solutions for partners and their clients.
Create joint go-to-market and activation plans that turn signed partnerships into qualified referrals, new clients and sustainable revenue.
Own and grow strategic partner relationships, monitoring performance, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement.
Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Product, Marketing, Sales and Client Onboarding to ensure partnerships are commercially sound, operationally executable and appropriate for the markets they serve.
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting and forecasts, providing clear visibility of partner activity, conversion, revenue potential and risk.
Represent Sokin at relevant industry events and partner forums across the region, building market presence and trusted relationships.
Share regional insight and partnership best practice across the business, contributing to sales planning and the continued development of Sokin’s Partnerships function.
Requirements
7+ years of progressive experience in partnerships, business development or enterprise sales within payments, fintech, financial services, remittance, e-commerce or a closely related B2B sector.
A proven track record of originating, negotiating, activating and growing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
A strong hunter mentality, with demonstrated success opening new markets, creating opportunities from the ground up and converting cold or early-stage relationships into commercially valuable partnerships.
Strong knowledge of the Singapore business environment and experience developing commercial relationships across one or more Southeast Asian markets; a broader regional network is a strong advantage.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building credibility with senior decision-makers, including founders, C-suite leaders and finance executives.
Commercial understanding of cross-border payments, FX, treasury or related financial solutions, together with an awareness of the varied regulatory and operating environments across Southeast Asia.
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to create compelling, value-led propositions for different partner types and markets.
Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with the ability to assess strategic fit, revenue potential, implementation requirements and risk.
Highly organised and self-directed, with disciplined CRM, pipeline-management, forecasting and reporting habits.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, international fintech or scale-up environment and collaborating effectively across functions, cultures and time zones.
Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as business needs require.
Desirable
Previous experience coaching, mentoring or managing commercial team members, with the capability to support future team growth.
An established network among prospective partners in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
Additional language capabilities relevant to Sokin’s priority markets in Southeast Asia.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience using modern sales tools and CRM platforms; Zoho experience is an advantage.
Working at Sokin
You’ll join an ambitious, international team in a fast-paced fintech environment, with the opportunity to shape Sokin’s partnerships presence in one of our key growth regions and make a visible contribution to our global expansion.
Please note: candidates must have the right to work in Singapore. Sokin is committed to building an inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates.
